``MAUI MAGIC RETREAT`` WITH KATHERINE & AMY
Amy and Katherine met in India two years ago while getting certified in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with Gurmukh Kau Khalsa and both connected deeply with each others discipline but also quirky and funny style of looking at life. By destiny they met again in Maui, while Katherine was retreating with Ram Dass, who is her dear teacher and one of her other styles of spiritual & yoga teachings she will also share with you. Amy who lives in Maui, offers the most wonderful and sweetest of Maui’s retreats as she embodies the essence of Hawaii and truly takes you through the real Hawaiian experience each day
Filled with rainbows, waterfalls, some street eats, endless sunsets at the beach, restaurant hopping and true local adventure. This Yoga Retreat could almost be called a vacation but we love the idea of Retreat because it wasn’t until we opened our hearts that we couldn’t see Magic and this is what this retreat is about, discovering the Magic in Maui that has been all the time inside of You.
Wake Up and Stretch Optional Yoga (A sweet Vinyasa Flow to awaken your senses)
Smoothie Bar with Local Organic Nuts, Tea and Coffee
MANA RITUAL: Meditation/Healing followed by a hike of the Waihee Ridge Trail. May is your guide to visiting the Heiau/ healing place where you release what is no longer serving you and ask for Maui’s guidance and support for what is next to serve your highest good.
LUNCH: Time to Relax and Enjoy on your own around the house and free time to Flow around town
Meditation on site and a local dinner out in the town.
Stand above a sea of clouds high atop Haleakala. Watch a 45-foot whale breach off the coast of Lahaina. Lose count of the waterfalls along the road as you maneuver the hairpin turns of the Hana highway. One visit and it’s easy to see why Maui is called “The Valley Isle.”
The second largest Hawaiian island has a smaller population than you’d expect, making Maui popular with visitors who are looking for sophisticated diversions and amenities in the small towns and airy resorts spread throughout the island.
From the scenic slopes of fertile Upcountry Maui to beaches that have repeatedly been voted among the best in the world, a visit to the Valley Isle recharges the senses. But like every good magic trick, you’ll have to see it for yourself to believe it.
WELCOME TO PAIA, MAUI
Paia, Maui reflects its heritage as a unique Hawaiian plantation village that originated in the latter half of the nineteenth century. The first mill was constructed in the 1870’s as the sugar industry took hold on Maui. Paia Town was established later in 1896 with the founding of a company store for plantation workers.
In recent decades, Paia has become a laid back town with local businesses and a coexistence between longtime residents and those attracted by the area’s world windsurfing. The unique blend of shops, boutiques, and restaurants that make up has become a destination in its own right, nestled along some of Maui’s best beaches and still surrounded by sugar cane.

Ku’au Inn is located on the North Side of the island. Our location is 5 miles from Kahului Airport, one mile from Paia Town, and 45 miles to Hana.
Within minutes of Ku’au Inn are world-renowned Hookipa Beach (very popular for surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing and stand up paddling) and Peahi, also known as “Jaws” (world famous for tow-in surfing). For safe swimming, Ku’au Cove – where Mama’s Fish House is located – and Baldwin Beach near Pa’ia have protected lagoons year round.
Our address is 676 Hana Highway – where the historic road to Hana begins its way to the far east side of Maui. A couple hours’ drive through spectacular scenery of waterfalls, tropical jungle and ocean vistas and you’ll arrive in Hana, Hawaii’s very Hawaiian region. It’s a full and amazing day trip not to be missed when you visit Maui.
While the weather cannot be predicted, it is usually sunny and comfortable on the beach. December is to be considered one of the best months to visit for its breeze and great waves, and its endless rainbows … J
